Does the company have a written policy or strategy for environmental responsibility and social responsibility, including business integrity? Which focus areas do the policies/strategies include?
In case such policies/strategies exist, how are they aligned with the company’s overall business strategy?
Has the company assigned responsibilities within its organisation for management of social and environmental issues?
Does the company have a risk assessment process to identify, prioritise and mitigate the potential social and environmental risks associated with its operations and activities?
Has the company established performance objectives in regard to its responsibility, including targets/indicators and implementation plans?
Does the company periodically review the adequacy, suitability, and continuing effectiveness of its responsibility policies/strategies, performance objectives, procedures, and achievements?
Does the company have a process for timely correction of deficiencies identified by internal or external reviews and inspections?
Does the company train managers and employees in implementing policies/strategies, objectives, and procedures?
Does the company have a process for communicating its policies/strategies, performance objectives, procedures and achievements to workers, suppliers and customers?
Does the company use its responsibility policies/strategies to differentiate itself from other players in the market?
Has the company established social and environmental policies/strategies, performance objectives, procedures etc. for any foreign subsidiaries?
Has the company set aside resources and does it have operational procedures for assessing – and if necessary improving – the social and environmental standards of its suppliers and/or local partners?
